During his Business Economics studies at Tilburg University, Michiel Segers completed his pre-graduation work placements with MeesPierson and HBG. He majored in Corporate Finance and subsequently started his career in 1997 with Achmea Holding. He supervised and coordinated merger and takeover projects for Achmea Holding. In 2002, he joined VM Management Consultants. As a consultant, he supervised and coordinated various merger and takeover projects. In 2006 he was employed with Heijmans NV, a listed construction company in the Netherlands. As director, he was responsible for mergers & acquisitions, corporate communications, and investor relations. Since 2010 Michiel has been managing director of Corinthe Corporate Finance B.V. Michiel has extensive experience in advising on merger, acquisition, and sale transactions in the building, construction, and real estate industry.
